# Support access: what Zero POS support did

Support access lists every change Zero POS support made while helping in your workspace. You decide when support may make changes, and for how long.

When Zero POS support helps you, they work inside your workspace signed in as its owner. Every change made that way is marked as support's and listed here, and nobody can remove it.

For changes made by your own team, use [Activity history: who changed what](https://zeropos.shop/help/activity-history).

Where to find it: MANAGE › Activity history.

## Before you start

- Seeing the list needs the permission to view the activity history: owners and administrators by default.
- Only the owner grants or revokes support access.

## Steps

### Check what support did

1. Open [MANAGE › Activity history](https://app.zeropos.shop/backoffice/audit-log) and tap **Support access** in the banner at the top.
2. Read the list, newest first: **When**, **Action**, **Entity** and **Acted as**.
3. A green box saying **Zero POS support has never accessed this workspace.** means there is nothing to show.

### Let support in, then close the door

4. Open [MANAGE › Settings › Workspace & data](https://app.zeropos.shop/backoffice/settings/account).
5. Under **Zero POS support access**, pick how long: **24 hours**, **7 days** or **30 days**.
6. Tap **Grant support access**. **Status** now shows the date access ends.
7. When support has finished, tap **Revoke access**. Otherwise access closes by itself at the end of the window.

## What happens next

- While the window is open, support can make changes to help you, and each one appears on Support access.
- With the usual setting, once the window closes support can only look, unless they deliberately confirm an exception; that is recorded too.
- Granting and revoking access are themselves recorded in [Activity history: who changed what](https://zeropos.shop/help/activity-history).

## Common questions

### Why does Acted as show the owner's name?

Support works signed in as the workspace owner, so their changes carry the owner's name. This screen is how you tell them apart: every row on it was support's.

### Is every screen support looked at listed?

No. Each support session starts with a row (platform.impersonate.start); after that, only changes are listed.

### How far back does it go?

The screen shows the latest 200 support actions. Older ones stay in [Activity history: who changed what](https://zeropos.shop/help/activity-history).

### Can support cancel our workspace or download our data?

Not from inside your workspace: while support is signed in as your owner, the download and cancel buttons are switched off. From your own sign-in, only the owner can use them.

## If you see this

- “**Could not load support-access history.**” — What to do: Check the connection and open the screen again.
- “**Only the workspace owner can grant support access.**” — What to do: Ask the owner to grant it from **Workspace & data**.

## Good to know

- Grant the shortest window that will do, usually **24 hours**, and revoke it as soon as the problem is solved.
