Zero POS in Andorra

IGI at 4.5%, included or added

Type 4.5 as your tax rate once, for the whole business, and say whether your prices already include it. Most beauty shops do: the price on the shelf is what the customer pays, and the IGI sits inside it. If you price before tax, the till adds it instead. Discounts come off before the tax is worked out, and the till and the receipt show the tax with its rate above the total. Type IGI as the tax name in Company info, and the till, receipts, invoices and reports call it IGI.

Every amount is in euros, on an 80 mm slip, on A4 or by email. You write the header, the contact details, the returns policy and the footer, so your company details and registration number go where you want them. Receipts follow the language you choose for customers, whatever language the seller’s screen is in.

Each person picks their own screen language — Spanish, or British or American English — and the till, the diary and the back office follow it. Someone new can work in the language they think in from their first shift, while your receipts stay in the one your customers read.

Gift cards for visitors and for regulars

Sell a gift card at the till and hand over a printed slip with its code. It can be spent all at once or bit by bit, in any of your shops in the region that sold it, until the last day printed on it — so a visitor who comes back next season still has what is left. Selling a card counts as revenue on the day.

Each shop keeps its own count of every product, and the product list shows what each one holds. Send units from one shop or a storeroom to another and both counts change at once, and you can add a note saying why. A low-stock alert goes out when a shop drops to its minimum, before a bestseller runs out in the shop that sells it.
