How to
12- Products and stockAdd a product with its prices and opening stock at each shop, then keep prices and quantities right from the Products list.
- Import your product listBring many products in at once from a spreadsheet. You read a row-by-row preview first, and nothing is written until you press Import.
- Correct stock by hand (Stock adjust)Add, remove or set a product's quantity at one shop, with a reason. Every change is logged, so you can see later who changed what and why.
- Mark tester or damagedTake units off stock that were opened as testers or are too damaged to sell. Stock drops at once and no money moves.
- Blind stock-take: count your shop's stockCount what is on the shelves without seeing the system's figures, then compare. Validating the count puts the differences into stock.
- Move stock between shopsSend units of one or more products from one shop or storeroom to another. Both counts change at once, and no money moves.
- Order from a supplier and receive itRaise a purchase order, split each line across your shops, and receive it when the goods arrive. Receiving is what adds the stock.
- Product photos and categoriesGive each product a photo sellers recognise and categories that become the till's tabs and the reports' filters. Both are set on the product's form.
- Move from your old till to Zero POSThe move in order: create your workspace, set it up, bring your products in, add past sales if you want them, then switch over with your card machine and your team. From Getting started
- Scan products with a barcode scannerGive each product its barcode, switch on barcode scanning, then scan to add products to a sale or to find them on the stock screens. From Selling at the till
- Stock reports: what sells, what sits and where it wentThe reports behind stock decisions: what each product sold, what isn't selling and what it's worth, every stock movement, and what your counts found missing. From Reports & dashboards
- Low-stock alerts: the default thresholdSet the stock level at which Zero POS warns you that a product is running low. It applies to every product that has no threshold of its own. From Settings & account
