How to
11- The rotaStaff say on their phones which days suit them. A manager builds the week from that and publishes it, and everyone is told their shifts.
- Time offRecord holidays and sick days for each person and let the app keep count of what is taken, booked and left. Sick days are counted apart, never off the holiday allowance.
- Add someone to the teamAdd each person who works in the shop, give them a role and choose where they work. They set their own password from an emailed link.
- Set someone's pay: hourly rate and commissionGive each person an hourly rate and, if they earn commission, daily tiers. Each month they get the higher of the two; the app works it out but never pays anyone.
- Set monthly targetsGive each seller and manager a sales target for the month, with an optional stretch target. They follow their progress on My results; a target pays nothing by itself.
- Read your salary pageMy salary shows what you have earned day by day: commission, hours, bonuses and deductions. It is an estimate for the month, not a payslip.
- Team salary and payroll runsSee the team's pay side by side, then save the month as a payroll run for your accountant. A run only records the figures; you log what you paid as an expense.
- Rota settings and each person's working daysChoose when the team says which days suit them and how far ahead, then set how many days a week each person works, with a floor or a ceiling if they need one.
- Check in and outClock in when you arrive, record your breaks and clock out when you leave. Your paid hours feed the salary figures. From Your day
- Check-in rules: paid breaks, the cut-off and opening the daySet how long a break stays paid, when a forgotten shift closes itself, who is alerted, and whether staff must open the day before they clock in.From Your day
- Record an expense (including wages you paid)Log what the business spends, from rent to the wages you paid. Expenses reduce net profit, and a recurring one records itself on schedule. From Money & accounting
Understand
2- What each role can doEach person has one role, and the role decides what they can do. Only the owner changes what a role can do, and nobody can widen their own access.
- Pay, commission, targets and costs: which report answers whatThe reports behind pay and costs: hours and commission per person, what each one earns, targets, what the shop spends and what is left. Here is the question each one answers. From Reports & dashboards
