How to
18- Make a saleRing up products, credit the sellers and take payment on New Sale. The sale goes straight into Invoices, with its receipt ready to print or email.
- Discounts at the tillLower one item's price, or take a % or an amount off the whole ticket. Discounts come off before VAT.
- Below-minimum approvalsWhen a ticket drops under its products' minimum prices, a manager approves it by push or with their PIN at the till. Then the sale goes through.
- Gift cardsSell a gift card at the till and hand over a printed slip with its code. The customer spends it later, all at once or bit by bit, until it runs out or expires.
- Layaway: hold items while a customer pays over timeHold goods for a customer who pays over time: a deposit today, more payments later, each item handed over once enough is paid. The last payment makes it a normal sale.
- Quick printsPrint small 80 mm slips, such as business cards, discount vouchers and skincare plans, straight to the thermal printer. Nothing is sold or saved.
- Sale options: customers, minimum prices and receiptsDecide whether a sale needs a customer and which details, what happens under the minimum price, and what the till shows.
- Tips: what customers can choose and who gets themSwitch tips on, choose what the till offers and decide who each tip goes to: whoever made the sale, a split with the team on shift, or everyone on shift.
- Take payment at the tillTake the money for a sale one way or several: card, cash, bank transfer, a gift card or the customer's store credit. The receipt lists each one.
- Scan products with a barcode scannerGive each product its barcode, switch on barcode scanning, then scan to add products to a sale or to find them on the stock screens.
- Refund a saleGive money back against a past sale, whole or in part. The refund is saved as a credit note linked to the sale, and the stock can go back on the shelf. From Invoices & refunds
- Fix a sale: edit, cancel or refund?Choose the right fix for a finished sale: edit it if it was rung up wrong, cancel it if it should never have happened, refund it if goods or money go back. From Invoices & refunds
- Print a receipt again, or email itPrint another copy of a sale's receipt, or email it to the customer, right after the sale or later from its invoice. From Invoices & refunds
