Treatments at the till: today's bookings and treatment gifts
Sell a treatment from its own tab on New Sale, see who is booked in today, and give a treatment as a gift with a purchase.
Treatments are sold like products, from their own tab on New Sale. A treatment given as a gift is not a sale: you ring up what the customer buys, then prepare the voucher in the back office.
Before you start
- Treatments switched on, with the treatment marked Sold at the till: Turn on treatments.
- The day open at your till: Opening float: open the day and count the cash.
Steps
Sell a treatment
- Step 1
On New Sale, tap the Treatments tab, or your shop's own word for it.
- Step 2
Tap the treatment. Its card shows how long it takes where a product shows its stock.
- Step 3
Add any products the customer is buying too.
- Step 4
Take the payment and tap Create Sale, as for any sale.

- Step 9
On BACKOFFICE › Treatments › Gift vouchers, type the code under Someone at the counter, tap Check this code and read To charge.
- Step 10
If there is an amount to charge, add the treatment on New Sale and type that amount in the line's Price box.
- Step 11
Take the payment and tap Create Sale.
- Step 12
Back on the voucher, tap Mark as used. When it covers the whole treatment, this is the only step.
What happens next
- A treatment sold at the till is an ordinary sale line. It counts in the day's takings, the reports and the sellers' commission, and never moves stock.
- Issuing a voucher adds nothing to the takings. It is counted under Outstanding on the Gift vouchers screen until it is used.
- A price typed below the treatment's Minimum price may need a manager's approval: Below-minimum approvals.
Booked in today
The strip above the products lists today's appointments at your shop: time, customer, treatment and length. Folded, it names the next one; tap it to open the list.
Tapping a row opens the treatment calendar. Appointments marked done show Done, and No treatments booked today means the day is empty.
The strip shows only while treatments are switched on, and only to people who can see the calendar.
