How to
21- LanguagesTwo shop-wide choices: the language customers read on receipts, and the language of the staff screens. Each person can also pick their own screen language.
- Add a shop or storage locationA location is a shop or a store room that sales and stock belong to. Add one for each place you sell from or keep stock in.
- Design the receiptChoose what the printed and emailed receipt says: the header, a tagline, contact details, a thank-you line, your return policy, a footer and an optional QR code.
- Company info: name, time zone and taxYour business's name and legal details, the time zone that sets the shop's day, and how you charge tax: VAT, or sales tax in the United States.
- Regions and shops: who sees whatA region groups shops and keeps their customers, payment methods and gift cards apart. Every shop belongs to one region, and staff only see the regions ticked for them.
- Receipt printer setup: Epson, browser or cloudChoose how each shop prints: through the browser, straight to an Epson printer, through a cloud bridge, or not at all. Then send a test print.
- Branding & appearance: logos, colours and themeUpload your logos, choose the colour your offer emails wear, and pick the app's colour theme and density. The theme applies to everyone in the workspace.
- Invoice numberingChoose how invoice numbers look: a prefix, which can carry the date, then a running number. New sales use the new format; old invoices keep theirs.
- Set up the deal page and vouchersChoose the words, picture and contact buttons a customer sees after scanning a deal voucher's QR code. They apply to every deal prepared from then on.
- Low-stock alerts: the default thresholdSet the stock level at which Zero POS warns you that a product is running low. It applies to every product that has no threshold of its own.
- Notifications: sale alerts and other eventsChoose who is alerted, in the app and by phone push, when a sale falls in an amount band, staff check in or out, stock runs low and more.
- Quick print templatesChange the wording of the four ready-made quick prints, or build your own slips from blocks. The till's Quick prints uses your changes from then on.
- Activity history: who changed whatActivity history lists changes saved in your workspace: sales, money, stock, settings, people and customers. Filter it to see who did what, and when.
- Support access: what Zero POS support didSupport access lists every change Zero POS support made while helping in your workspace. You decide when support may make changes, and for how long.
- Workspace & data: download your data or cancelDownload a copy of everything in your workspace, or cancel it with 30 days to change your mind. Only the owner can do either.
- Email templates: the wording of every emailChange the wording of the emails Zero POS sends: receipts, refunds and appointment reminders for customers, and three notices for staff.
- Check-in rules: paid breaks, the cut-off and opening the daySet how long a break stays paid, when a forgotten shift closes itself, who is alerted, and whether staff must open the day before they clock in.From Your day
- Connect your email and set up marketing emailsConnect your own email account so receipts and offers leave from your address, then fill in the sender details every offer must carry. From Marketing

4- Settings: a map of every tileSettings groups every shop-wide choice into tiles, from company details to printing and alerts. This map says what each tile is for and which guide explains it.
- Billing: your plan and workspace statusBilling shows your workspace's plan and status, and when a trial ends or the plan renews. Nothing is paid inside the app: to activate a plan, you email Zero POS.
- What each role can doEach person has one role, and the role decides what they can do. Only the owner changes what a role can do, and nobody can widen their own access. From Team & pay
- How prices and tax work: VAT or sales taxYour shop charges no tax, adds it at the till, or has it inside its prices, as VAT or as sales tax in the United States. The choice sets what a Price means and locks at your first sale with tax. From Money & accounting
