Add a shop or storage location

A location is a shop or a store room that sales and stock belong to. Add one for each place you sell from or keep stock in.

How-toBy default: Owner · AdministratorWhere: MANAGE › LocationsChecked 9 Oct 2026Step 5 of 19 · Setting up your shop

Owners can change what each role may do.

Every sale, stock count and check-in happens at a location, and every location belongs to one region.

Before you start

The Locations list with each shop's region, stock and revenue

Each shop in one row; Edit changes its details.

Steps

  1. Step 1
  2. Step 2

    Tap New Location.

  3. Step 3

Pick the Type: Point of Sale for a shop where people clock in and sell, Storage for a place that only holds stock.

  4. Step 4

Type the name and pick its Region. Add the Address if you want it on file.

  5. Step 5

For a Point of Sale, set Max sellers on a shift (each new rota shift starts with that many) and Treatment rooms if it gives treatments: empty uses the shared number (Treatment rooms and who does each treatment).

  6. Step 6

Still for a Point of Sale, check Opening hours: switch each day on or off and set its times. Add a break splits a day; Copy Monday to all days fills the week.

The Edit Location window at Opening hours: each day's Open switch and its opening and closing times, with Add a break under each and Copy Monday to all days at the top

Switch each day on or off and set its times; online booking, the treatments diary and the rota all use them.
  7. Step 7

If your invoice numbers use {LOC}, type the shop's Short code, for example OT.

  8. Step 8

    Tap Create Location.

What happens next

  • Sales, stock and check-ins can now be recorded at the new shop. A storage location holds stock and takes transfers, but has no sales or shifts.
  • Its opening hours are used straight away by the treatments calendar, the online booking page and the rota. Change them any time by opening the shop again.
  • Its Treatment rooms decide how many treatments the calendar and the online booking page take there at once.
  • Staff only see it if their user allows its region: check Where they work in Add someone to the team.
  • Choose how it prints receipts in Receipt printer setup: Epson, browser or cloud.

Questions

Can I delete a location?
Yes. If it still has open invoices, live stock or users pinned to it, it is marked inactive instead, so its history stays intact.
We closed a shop for good. What should I do?
Tap Disable on its row. Its sales stay in the reports, and Enable brings it back.
Can one shop ask to open the day while the others don't?
Yes. Tap Edit on its row and, under Day open, choose Required at this location or Not required at this location. Use the company setting follows MANAGE › Settings › Day open / close (Opening float: open the day and count the cash).
Can one shop have more treatment rooms than another?
Yes. Tap Edit on its row and set Treatment rooms. Left empty, the shop uses the number under Treatment rooms on BACKOFFICE › Treatments › Online booking. The box shows only while treatments are switched on (Turn on treatments).
Can one shop close forgotten shifts at a different time?
Yes. Tap Edit on its row and, under Shift cut-off, choose Set a time for this location and type the time. Use the company cut-off or Use the region's cut-off follows everyone else's, and the line under the box shows the time in use (Check-in rules: paid breaks, the cut-off and opening the day).
